I have always loved fractals, whether in nature or computer generated and have begun to collect those that catch my eye on dA, which has led to me being inspired to draw some of them. So this feature will show you the fractals that inspired me and the work they inspired.
inspired Bending Over Backwards (drawing) and Bending Over Backwards (painting). The drawing is fineliner on paper, A5 and the painting is gouache on paper, A4.

Question Time And The Art Of Doodling Part 3
For those of you who have been waiting to see the last of my Question Time postcards, here is the last batch running up to the end of the current series.
I have thoroughly enjoyed doodling along to the programs when I watch them on a Friday Morning, it not only wakes my brain up, it also acts as a great warm up exercise :D
While the British Parliament is on its summer recess, Question Time and similar programmes take a break, but when they come back in September, I will be starting the next set of doodles.

Art Festival Fun
At the weekend we were at one of our local Art Festivals in Carnforth, which was only started a couple of years ago. It is organised by the owner of the local craft shop, Rowan Tree Crafts, and local artists and musicians are invited along to show off their skills.

We also had a Festival Necklace Lucky Dip for the kids. Our stall generated quite a lot of interest and we spent a pleasant day discussing art and making sales. Around lunchtime my Mum turn
Back to normal?
Well, I certainly did not expect to be out of the loop for so long! I have suffered from spinal problems for over 15 years now and this latest little hiccup was worse than I expected and took longer to recover from than any of us foresaw. My family and friends have been brilliant and I really don't know what I would have done without their support. Thank you guys and gals :D
